2022-2023 Back-to-School Band Camp
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I haven't practiced all summer and I sound bad?
First off, EVERYONE needs a break from school, EVERYONE needs a break from work, and EVERYONE needs a break from their instrument. If you haven't touched it in a while. THAT IS OK!!! (but practicing is better!!!)
Second, this camp is more of a 'brushing the dust off your instrument' sort of deal. We are gonna warm you up to tip top shape and ready for the school year!!! So no need to worry about any of that.

What time and what day do I need to go?
The camp will be running July 25th-28th. So you will need to come EVERY DAY that week. For people that make it everyday of the week, we will have a pizza party at the end of the last day of the camp.
You only need to come during the time shown on the schedule at the top of this page!! If you need to stay earlier or later, please let the band directors know so arrangements can be made. We will have a holding area for all band members before the pizza party on July 28th.

What if I have/need a school owned instrument?
We will issue school owned instruments during the camp. French Horn, Euphonium, and Tuba instrument contracts will already be filled out, if you play a different instrument, please let the band directors know ASAP.
What if I am missing some supplies?
We recommend that you visit one of the recommended vendors found under our "Classroom Resources" page. There it will also show you recommended reed sizes and mouthpiece brands if you need to replace them this year.
